Congress is Taking Action to Protect Medical Innovation – Now It’s Your Turn!

This week, bipartisan Members of the House of Representatives took action to permanently repeal the medical device tax, which would take money away from American medical innovation and contribute to the unsustainably high cost of medical care in the United States.

In recognition of the medical device tax’s many flaws, bipartisan Members of Congress have worked together in the past to suspend the tax – twice. These new pieces of legislation, S. 692 and H.R. 2207, would permanently repeal this flawed tax and provide lasting protection to American medical device manufacturing and innovation.

As a Right Scan Right Time advocate, you know how innovations in medical imaging improve health outcomes. That’s why we need you to urge Congress to pass this important legislation before time runs out!
